'....I have so many new clothes and even better, lots of outfits, which I love and have had so many lovely comments about. I couldn’t recommend her more highly and I cannot wait until our next shopping trip.'
A friend of mine recommended Sally to me having been really impressed with her and having spent a few hours with Sally I can totally understand why. I wanted Sally to help me find some new outfits; as a working Mum whenever I go out shopping I usually come back with clothes for my son because I just don’t enjoy shopping for me anymore. I also always seem to come back with the same sorts of clothes which make my wardrobe (and me!) look very dull and I wanted Sally to take me out of my comfort zone.
I haven’t mentioned this to Sally, but whilst I was really looking forward to our shopping trip, I was also slightly sceptical, having had a bad experience with a personal shopper years ago. I couldn’t have been more wrong or more pleasantly surprised. Before we met, Sally had spent the day before researching the shops and choosing items she thought I would like. When we actually met, she already had a load of items for me to try on and I think that at least 80% of them I loved (and that was just in the first shop!). Because she had done so much research she knew exactly the shops we should head to so the whole experience for me was so easy. She was completely honest with me, so all the items I have genuinely look nice (not like the experience you have with some shop assistants!) and conversely I felt I could be really honest back. The best compliment I can give I think is that it was like shopping with a friend and I have so many new clothes and even better, lots of outfits, which I love and have had so many lovely comments about. I couldn’t recommend her more highly and I cannot wait until our next shopping trip.

'.....I can say with full confidence that our shopping trip was a success'
Sally took me on a personal shopping tour in Central London early in my pregnancy. I was interested in purchasing a handful of items which could serve me as my shape changed, and which exuded the professionalism I require for my role in financial services. Sally did some extremely valuable "homework" in preparation for our tour, such that each stop was efficient and enjoyable. I came away with a core set of dresses and separates (admittedly from shops I would normally bypass - she's opened my mind!) that would not look like run-of-the-mill maternitywear, and which would allow me to keep wearing pieces from my existing wardrobe (e.g. jackets, accessories) for as long as possible. As I await the birth of our son next week, I can say with full confidence that our shopping trip was a success. Early in my pregnancy, the pieces we selected downplayed my expanding belly until I was ready to "go public," and then they amazingly served me until my very last week of work before mat leave. I would highly recommend a personal shopping event for professional women who would like to have a versatile and smart core wardrobe to serve them through their pregnancies. What a great investment and treat for the mother-to-be!

'Friendly and supportive, but challenges you to move out of your comfort zone to just the right degree.'
"''I attended a workshop Sally ran about three years ago. My youngest child (of 3) was 2, and I was working full time, and I found it impossible to find any time to think about clothes, or to shop. The workshop gave me lots of ideas about colours, and fashionable trends and what kinds of clothes would suit me, which was really helpful. Inspired by the experience, I asked Sally to help me clear out my wardrobe, at which point it became clear to me that I had fallen into a complete rut with both my work and weekend clothes – they were boring, and I was bored by them. Her advice on colours, what was missing from my wardrobe, and what I should try out was terrific and I bought lots of lovely new things which were immediately commented on at work and by friends. Since then, I have been on several shopping trips with Sally (a much more efficient way of shopping than doing it yourself), and she’s helped do another wardrobe clearout. I now take so much pleasure in what I wear and feel so much more confident and creative about it. And the best thing about Sally is her approach – she’s friendly and supportive, but challenges you to move out of your comfort zone to just the right degree.' ."

'I've now got a wardrobe that turns heads, is easy to co-ordinate and looks amazing.'
"Like many women, I was at war with my body and my wardrobe. I'd spent my life hiding away in black, usually in a size or two too big. After having an accident last year and taking a career break, I began to regain my health and lose weight, but my wardrobe hadn't kept up. I'd look in the mirror in revulsion and spent hours agonising on what to wear.
Sally changed all this. She detoxed my wardrobe of the unsightly clothes, and took me shopping. I was in a bit of a daze, and uncertain about wearing colour for the first time, but she soon put me at my ease. I've now got a wardrobe that turns heads, is easy to co-ordinate and looks amazing. I love dressing up now. It's also saved me a lot of money in costly mistakes. I simply can't recommend her enough - she has changed my life!"

'...it has made a difference to how he feels about himself - I'm sure I'm not imagining a new, very slightly puffed up confidence and spring in his step.'
I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU!!
It was so exciting when my husband came back with his bags (and bags and bags) of goodies, and he was clearly happy and proud to show them all off to me. He's got so many great items and they all look so good on him.
I'm impressed that you managed to strike the tricky balance of challenging him with a few items that he wouldn't have otherwise gone for, at the same time as not leaving him floundering and anxious too far out of his comfort zone.
I think it has made a difference to how he feels about himself - I'm sure I'm not imagining a new, very slightly puffed up confidence and spring in his step.'
'...it was spot on! I love the enthusiasm and professional delivery'
Queen Bee and Capability Jane Recruitment collaborated to provide help and advice on what to wear, for people returning to work or haven’t been to an interview in a long time. Over time fashions change and we wanted to provide advice to ensure interviewees do not fail at the first hurdle. The result was running a webinar with Queen Bee, providing valuable advice on fashion fundamentals, body shape and accessories as well as advice for those with a budget. We all picked up valuable advice from Queen Bee’s extensive fashion experience and knowledge. Capability Jane Recruitment would recommend Queen Bee to anyone who needs to uplift their wardrobe and if like us, help with getting rid of the traditional suit.

I now have a great wardrobe...
"I recently spent a morning with Sally to sort out my back to work wardrobe. I now have a great wardrobe which is interchangeable and I love. A lot of which I wouldn't have bought alone and I am over the moon."

The styling party I went to was really fun and informative...
"The styling party I went to was really fun and informative. I was a bit apprehensive because I’m not much of a fashion person, but when I realised that I could identify my body shape, I instantly perked up and took an interest. Simple tricks like knowing what trouser shape or skirt length looks best on me were something I could use every time I went shopping. We also learned how to freshen a wardrobe with a couple of on-trend prints or colours, and I particularly liked learning how to use a scarf or a bag to add that “fashion” touch to a classic outfit. And it was a real laugh – Sally was charming, funny and interested in everybody. Highly recommended."

"We worked with Sally from Queen Bee Styling to run a personal styling event at one of our fashion and lifestyle stores, the dulwich trader. Sally gave a presentation on creating a capsule wardrobe and putting pieces together for the new season. This was really inspiring and helpful for many of us who are so busy juggling jobs and kids that taking time every morning to create an outfit just isn't realistic and we need a little help so that having bought wisely, the outfits create themselves. It was a really fun evening and Sally was great. I would love to organise a personal styling session now!"
