December is the time when most of us can look forward to a couple of days when we’re off duty. Let’s just pretend for a minute that we’re not running around like headless chickens buying last minutes presents and preparing food. Instead, I’m imagining cosy days in front of a fire where all the family play board games in harmony…sound familiar? No. Oh well, you can at least dress the part with a cosy, chunky knitted jumper. To help you do that, here are my top 3 across the price points. They make perfect Christmas gifts too and will see you through the chilly winter days:-
This Uniglo jumper is knitted in a soft, melange yarn which works really well with denim. I’m a big fan of the menswear version too as it’s longer and roomier which I find more comfortable. It also has a smaller wool content making it less itchy for sensitive skin.
Cos is one of my go-to brands for knitwear. I love the colour of this chunky cable knit. This style is bang on trend with the roll neck and it’s also good value for 100% Merino wool.
This chic Isabel Marant sweater is on the smart side of smart-casual which is a good thing as it doesn’t come cheap. The shorter style works well with wide leg trousers as well as jeans. It’s a really versatile piece that will be in your wardrobe for season to come.
