Buy now, wear now….and later.
Eighties? Been there. Oversized bags you can fit into? Hmm, no. Cycling shorts? Crikey! Tie dye? Maybe at a festival. Neon? I’ll wait until summer to try this one. Believe it or not, these are some of the key trends for the season which, for the main reason that I’d look very odd in them (including the bag), I’ve decided not to feature. You can remind me of this when you see me posting a shot of my new tie dye, neon, cycling shorts on Instagram next month!
That’s why I’ve chosen tie neck blouses for this month’s three of the best feature. It’s a key trend piece this season and, more importantly, it’s a great style to buy at this time of year as you can wear it now and later when the weather turns milder. It’s also extremely versatile as it looks just as good with jeans as it does dressed up for smarter occasions.
Here are my top 3 styles high street styles:-
Yellow Ribbon
This is the perfect style to add a pop of sunshine to your wardrobe. The v-neck is also a flattering shape for those of you with larger boobs – just ensure to tie the ribbons at cleavage height and not too high up.
Untili – tie
This denim shirt is the ideal smart casual piece. Team it with a sequin skirt or statement trousers to create a contemporary outfit that’s great for informal drinks and dress down Fridays etc. You can also wear it with jeans for a full on double denim experience. See if you agree or not in my latest Instagram post.
White Tie
This one is slightly more expensive but well worth the investment. A white shirt is one of my keeper pieces and this style has the added bonus of the beautiful neckline. No outfit will ever be dull again!
